Programs

COACH Kids strives to develop the highest quality programs, partnerships, resources and expertise
needed to lead and serve our community, volunteers and every Clinton County child in need of a caring, supportive mentor relationship.

Children of Hope – Mentors are matched with a child and agree to spend 4 -6 hours or more per month for a period of at least one year.  Activities can include sporting events, movies, picnics, or simply a walk in the park.

Children of Promise – COP is a partnership with the juvenile justice system and matches referred youth with a family or individual from area churches for a one year commitment.

Local Heroes – School based mentoring program where a volunteer mentor is matched with an elementary aged child and meets with the child one hour per week at school.

The Crossing – The Crossing:  We provide specific requests for mentors in both individual settings and group settings.

Local Heroes Plus – This is an opportunity for Local Hero matches to meet on a limited basis during the summer.

Mommy and Me – Experienced mothers are on hand to supply emotional help and support to young moms. Mommy and Me is a partnership with the Clinton County Extension Service.

Parenting Matters – Parents and guardians of preschool aged children receive education and support to prepare their children for life and learning.
